I joined the army at the age of 18 because I wanted to see the world. After I finished my tour, I came home and found myself working in bars and restaurants all over the country. I decided to get serious about my culinary aspirations to pursue my dream of becoming a chef in NYC.
I’ve been beating around a lot of kitchens, learning about failure and success the hard way, and living each day like I don’t know if I’ll see another one. Now I’m just busy writing, cooking, and trying to keep my head on straight while having fun.
Grateful for life, my wife, and the privilege of doing what I love.
Thanks for reading.
